Bowie Barker
A pet care brand built for franchise growth from the start.

What we built.

What we
walked into.
Bowie Barker entered the franchise market with a strong consumer concept and almost no digital infrastructure to support it. The website had to serve two completely different audiences — pet owners searching for local grooming services, and franchise prospects evaluating the business opportunity. Most brands pick one and let the other suffer. The previous site tried to do both and failed at both. Booking flows were absent. Franchise inquiry pages were buried. Neither audience could find what they were looking for, and location infrastructure did not exist for the franchise system being built.
How we solved it.
We started with brand research before opening a single design file. Consumer interviews, franchise prospect research, and competitive analysis across the pet care category surfaced the real decision patterns driving both audiences. Pet owners do not browse — they search with intent and convert fast. Franchise prospects need to see the business case before the brand story. Those two journeys cannot share the same navigation.
The site architecture was rebuilt around two distinct entry paths. Pet owners land on location-first pages with service menus, staff profiles, and a direct booking integration. Franchise prospects enter through a development funnel with territory maps, investment details, and a multi-step inquiry form that qualifies leads before they reach the development team.
We built the entire location infrastructure on brandVANTAGE before the first franchise signed. New location pages, booking integrations, and local SEO foundations deploy in hours, not weeks. The platform scales with the franchise system — adding markets does not add operational overhead.
What we shipped.
Audience-Segmented Architecture
Two entry points, two conversion flows, one cohesive brand. Pet owners book. Franchise prospects inquire. Neither path interferes with the other.
Location-First UX
Every location gets its own page ecosystem: service menu, staff profiles, hours, booking link, and local SEO foundation. Built from templates that enforce brand standards automatically.
Franchise Development Funnel
Territory maps, investment overview, the brand story, and a multi-step qualification form. The digital experience does the pre-qualification work so the sales team talks to serious prospects.
brandVANTAGE Program
Full location management infrastructure built on KynectLocal. New markets deploy in hours. Franchisees update their own pages without breaking brand standards. Corporate sees every location on one dashboard.
